I have had a horrid experience with a dental franchise prior to coming to this facility for new dental plates. The previous dentist would run equipment into my head, always bumping into the chair, a mute disposition I found absolutely provoking and by the time she completed her dentistry I received dental plates that looked as if they belonged to Mr. Ed the talking horse. To add to this buffoonery of this Mr. Magoo like Dentist she was notified I had been suffering with Chronic Pain Syndrome as a result of a fractured back from a car rear ending my vehicle in 2016 which was exacerbated in a re-injury in 2019. I can’t begin to express the pain I have been suffering with as a result of this re-injury. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy and I do have a few of those. The pain was so severe I went many days, to weeks without sleep which caused me much depression and left me absolutely fed up with the medical establishment within the area I live who seemed unable to address this issue outside the use of strong pain medication. Now granted, I never thought I would ever wind in this position of losing my teeth, so just the embarrassment of this loss was enough and added to the depression I was battling. I remember the exact day I noticed the seriousness of what was occurring with my teeth and now poisoning my body. I just was assigned at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx NY just after being a first responder on 9/11 and started at this position 9/12. Since I was a contract worker health or dental insurance wasn’t provided and I was only working for travel expenses which I had been doing the last seven years. This type of work got me to 36 states and seven countries and ended when I returned to NYS where my professional license was out of.
Needless to say, I recently had fractured my upper plate in which I bought an over the counter repair kit for a temporary fix albeit the alignment was off causing painful pressure on the roof of my mouth. I finally, after six months of this oral discomfort and pain I surrendered to the fact that I was going to have to find a dentist who could either repair what I had or go through the process fitting process of new plates which I was dreading from previous experiences stated above. After several days of researching for a competent dentist. I found Smile Bright Dental on 8370 W Hillsborough Ave. Tampa, Fl. During my this first visit, I found the staff not only exceptional professional but also compassionate a combination one would expect in any medical facility but sorely missing in past interactions. I found these attributes refreshing and very tender in what I perceive can be a very hard and cold world at times especially post plandemic lock-downs. During my second visit, my positive assessment of this facility would truly be out to the test. When I arrived, I was miserable, exhausted and in excruciating pain couple with no sleep from the agony I enduring throughout the night post a fractured back I’ve been contending with for way to long. The Dr Maryam Rostami DMD and the staff were absolutely compassionate, empathetic and addressed the issue at hand the best that they could and with what they had. I was shocked and taken back at Dr. Rostamis’ empathetic response along with the staff’s understanding just blew me away as I left with tears in my eyes and utterly grateful at the Doctors response, swift action and the staff understanding. It’s been along time I’ve experienced such caring, understanding and adherence to the Hippocratic Oath. Just this experience and interaction with the staff as a whole helped undue my previous negative experiences I mentioned above. They could have just ignored the issue at hand and rescheduled me as I would have headed to the emergency room which I ended up going to a few days later. By the time I was stabilised I was able to find a Doctor to address the spinal pain as I went through the fitting process for the dental plates this facility produced a product that was well fitted and its appearance professionally done. I was impressed!!! Dr. Rostami explained and walked me through the process clearly as her staff enhanced the whole experience. Once again, I highly recommend Dr. Rostami and her staff and would add you won’t be disappointed in the care you’ll receive there along with a fair and cost effective price. Everyone, from the receptionist, to the person dealing with the financial end, to hygienist where wonderful, pleasant and conveyed they enjoyed the work they did at this facility. I was impressed and totally satisfied at the process and product they produces.

I had a wonderful experience at Smile Bright Dental! The office staff, Dr. Ichoa and Guadalupe the Dental Hygienist were all amazing! I was very nervous about going because I haven't had the best experience in the past but they eased all my worries and I felt absolutely no pain. I would highly recommend this office!

Had the hygienist Yolanda clean my teeth this morning. As usual, she was timely, professional and courteous. Extensive with the cleaning, addressing my deficiencies while setting an expectation for the next visit. The staff is courteous. Dr. Patel a gentle dentist, making sure all dental treatment needed is performed. Both my wife and I have been customers for over three years. Gladly recommend.

This dental place is excellent. The people that work there are very professional! I would recommend this place to anyone! If you have dental problems this would be a great place to go! John Chiari It is a 10+10+ I would rate this place very high!

Everyone in the office is friendly. I moved to Florida 3 years ago and used them immediately. The dental hygienist, Guadalupe Munio, is the best I've ever had.

We have been looking for a dentist. Dr. Ichoa was recommended by our neighbor, Debbie Brown. My husband's crown came off. He called and got in right away. The staff was professional and very helpful. His crown was reattached and still stays on as of today.
We will definitely make future appointments with Dr. Ichoa.

Hi my name is Valerie. I am 61 years of age and I must say that Guadalupe Munio is the most caring Hygienist I have ever met. She is extremely patient and gentle with her patients. She takes the time to explain everything before she begins and during the entire procedure. I had the most wonderful experience at my dental appointment today. From now on I will only be going to Smile Bright Dental for all my hygiene care. As long as Guadalupe is the Hygienist. Thank you so much for an awesome painless visit.

I have severe anxiety when I go to the dentist. All of the people at Smile Bright make me feel so comfortable that I immediately lose my anxiety when I enter their office. I highly recommend Smile Bright in New Port Richey.
