$179 New Patient Special: Includes Dental Exam, X-rays & Standard Cleaning.
As dentists, we may be a little biased when we say your dental health is incredibly important, but consider this: Without healthy teeth and gums, everyday things like chewing, talking, and speaking can be impacted, and not in a good way. Not to mention, your dental health can have a sizable cosmetic effect on your appearance.
The reality is that there’s a good deal of room for improvement in dental health in the United States if you consider that nearly half of adults aged 30 and older have some degree of gum disease. Or that nearly half of kids have cavities, as well as more than a quarter of adults ages 20-64.
Recognizing the need for regular and skilled dental care, our team at Smile Bright Dental, which caters to patients in the Greater Tampa Bay area, including Carrollwood, offers a fantastic special for new patients.
For just $109, we can lay the foundation for great dental health and a beautiful smile. Let’s take a look at what you can expect during this introductory visit.
A preliminary dental exam
As part of our new patient special, we provide a complete dental exam, during which one of our experts thoroughly examines your teeth and gums.
To start, we review your dental health and any issues you may have had in the past or conditions you’re concerned about now. For example, if you have a tooth that's highly sensitive or you’re experiencing issues with dry mouth, these are conditions we want to know about, as this information will guide us moving forward.
Aside from checking your teeth and gums for signs of problems, we also perform routine screenings, such as checking the soft tissues in your mouth for oral cancers.
Getting a peek inside with X-rays
While our dental experts can spot many issues visually, nothing beats X-rays for locating and identifying tooth decay and other concerns that lie below the surface.
Dental caries tend to develop in hard-to-reach areas, such as behind and in between your teeth. X-rays allow us to find and contain these common dental issues before they lead to much bigger problems.
Tooth decay is a leading driver of tooth loss, so staying one step ahead with advanced imaging is important.
Get your teeth professionally cleaned
As part of the new patient special, we perform a professional dental cleaning, which is a key part of any gum disease and tooth decay prevention plan.
When left unchecked, harmful bacteria in your mouth can build up and form tartar, which can only be removed with our specialized tools. These tools are also ideal for removing tough stains, such as coffee stains.
During your cleaning, we use these tools to get into all those places where plaque, tartar, and stains can be found and remove them.
After we thoroughly clean your teeth, we put the finishing touches on our work with a polish that whitens and brightens your teeth.
(Please note that if you have more advanced gum disease, we may have to perform a deep cleaning, which isn’t part of the new patient special.)
Get on the road to healthy teeth and a beautiful smile
So, if you’re new to the area or you’re a little behind on dental care, our Smile Bright Dental team welcomes you to our practice, and we look forward to partnering with you in maintaining optimal dental health.
